You probably heard of microneedling – a dermapen procedure that uses small needles to prick the skin, in order to generate new collagen production in your skin. Morpheus8 is more than just a microneedling device. It’s our latest and greatest full-body, non-surgical, anti-aging tool that stimulates a serious skin-tightening process thanks to the addition of radio frequency technology. RF, or radio frequency, is able to address collagen and elastin production at a deeper level than just microneedling alone. The result is smoother, firmer, and more toned skin.
What Is Morpheus8?
Morpheus, sometimes referred to as Morpheus8 or M8, is a device that combines microneedling with radiofrequency technology for fractional resurfacing that stimulates collagen production. By targeting the deeper layers of the skin, the building blocks will reorganize themselves in a natural anti-aging process. There is little to no damage to the top layer of your dermis and this procedure provides an extremely uniform effect (which equates to smoother skin tone and texture).
What can Morpheus help treat and correct?
This advanced microneedling treatment – the first and only full-body subdermal adipose remodeling device (it targets the deflation of soft tissue, like an aging jowl) – has incredible benefits.

How Long Until I See Morpheus8 Results?

As for downtime after each session, expect to see some mild swelling and redness that looks and feels like a sunburn for three to four days following treatment, plus some possible flaking as the tiny punctures from the microneedle heal.
What Areas Can Be Treated with Morpheus8?
Morpheus8 can be used in any area that can benefit from sub-dermal renewal. Areas of the face and body that exhibit wrinkles, discoloration, or acne scarring are suitable for treatment. The most commonly treated areas include the face and neck, as well as the abdomen which is beneficial for tightening loose skin with underlying fatty tissue.
FAQS
What Is the Benefit of Fractionated and RF Energy?
Fractionated RF energy is a scientifically proven method to reduce wrinkles and rebuild collagen and fat. It is minimally invasive, using a matrix of micro pins to renew deeper layers of the skin with almost no patient downtime. RF energy heats the deep layers of the skin in a controlled manner to revitalize the collagen. Morpheus treatments help to improve skin complexion and texture for a more radiant and youthful appearance.
Am I a candidate for Morpheus?
The benefit of Morpheus8’s color blind technology is that it can be used on all skin types. The unique properties allow even darker skin tones to be treated with little risk of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, which is common with other resurfacing methods.
When can I put on makeup after my Morpheus treatment?
Since patient downtime is minimal, makeup can be applied 1 to 2 days after the treatment. Patients should expect to see micro lesions a few days after treatment and slight redness for up to 1 week depending on treatment parameters.
What Kind of Post Procedure Care Is Required?
Patients should moisturize the treatment area and avoid direct sun exposure. It is also recommended that patients use a good, broad-spectrum sunscreen every day. In addition to reducing their future risk of skin cancer, sunscreens also reduce wrinkles and slow the aging process.
How much downtime does Morpheus require?
Morpheus requires no significant downtime and most patients report only a light sunburn feeling for an hour or two post treatment. Depending on how aggressive the treatment is, a patient may have some faint bruising and/or redness for 48-72 hours.
