Skin MD Boston is moving, expanding, and we’re more excited than ever. With close to 14,000 treatments in 2022, we’re ready to take on more in 2023!
New year, new us. Here’s everything you need to know about the relocation straight from those who know best — our patient coordinator, Olivia Draper Quillinan, and assistant patient coordinator, Jessica Mooney.
What sparked the decision to relocate?
We had growing pains and a growing patient roster. “We’ve been at 209 Newbury for 4.5 years now. In order to treat more patients we needed a bigger space!”
Is the old location closing completely?
Bold it, highlight it and save it in your calendar. “YES.” The new Skin MD Boston address is 132 Newbury Street.
What’s the coolest feature of the new location?
Don’t be shy about the geo-tagging on Instagram, the new building is pretty gorgeous. “[It’s a] historical building with original Back Bay architecture like exposed brick and a staircase to die for! Truly a showpiece.”
How many treatment rooms are there?
In some cases, bigger is better — and this is one of them. “At our old location on Newbury St., we had 4. There are 6 rooms at the new location.”
Will you be hiring new staff?
With all this new space, we’re hiring new staff as well. “Our team is expanding and we are bringing on a few new talented medical estheticians to join our amazing Skin MD family.
What treatments are you most looking forward to providing at Skin MD Boston?
Sometimes it’s the little things. “All of our current services with a dedicated room for each of them!”
Do you have any words of comfort to those who are skeptical of change and loved the old location?
“It’s the same friendly faces and only a couple of blocks down the street! This is a good change, we needed the space.”
Do you plan on expanding further after this move?
We’re not making any promises, but this is what we can safely say. Skin MD is growing. The most important thing to us is ensuring with our growth, we continue to provide top notch aesthetic services…that will always be what drives us!
Are there any opening specials customers should know about, or a grand opening event coming soon?
Good things come to those who wait. “We are starting with a soft opening – Skin MD parties are epic – and take time to plan. The best way to be notified about Skin MD events is to join our Rewards platform!”

“January 16.” (Approximately. Check back for more info!)
Hours of operation?
“10 AM to 7 PM Monday – Friday. 10 AM to 5 PM Saturday. Closed Sunday”
How do patients book appointments at the new location?
“Same as always! It may be a new location, but “by calling 617-923-0396, you will still reach us at the clinic. If you are a new patient you can call or request a consultation time online.”
